1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS By downloading or using the Quitory app ("App"), these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the App.
2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER (CRITICAL) Quitory is NOT a medical device.
  • The App is a gamified self-help tool for habit tracking.
  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • The AI assistant "A.R.I.A." provides motivational content, not medical prescriptions.
  • Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
3. USER GENERATED CONTENT (THE "BEACON" FEATURE) Quitory allows users to post content (text messages) via the "Beacon" module.
  • No Tolerance for Objectionable Content: We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content. You agree NOT to submit content that is: defamatory, offensive, pornographic, hateful, promoting illegal acts, or harassing.
  • Moderation: We moderate all submissions. Content violating these rules will be rejected.
  • Ban Policy: Users found repeatedly submitting objectionable content will have their access to the Beacon feature revoked.
  • Reporting: If you encounter offensive content from other users, you can report it via the "Report" button or by emailing support@quitory.com. We will review and remove violating content within 24 hours.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site and App (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us.
5. PURCHASES The App offers in-app purchases. Purchases are managed by the App Store (Apple), Google Play, or RuStore. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. Please contact the respective store support for billing issues.
6. CHANGES TO TERMS We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION Welcome to Quitory. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our application and tell you about your privacy rights.
2. DATA ARCHITECTURE (LOCAL FIRST PRINCIPLE) Quitory is designed with a "Local First" architecture to ensure maximum privacy:
  • Personal Journal & Progress: All your personal logs, diaries, progress stats, and settings are stored locally on your device using an encrypted Hive database. We do not have access to this data.
  • "Letters to Future Self": These are stored locally. We cannot read them.
3. DATA COLLECTION & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES We use trusted third-party services to ensure the app's functionality and improvement. These services may collect pseudonymous data:
  • Firebase Analytics (Google): Collects anonymous usage data (session duration, screens visited) to help us improve gameplay mechanics.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects crash reports to help us fix bugs.
  • RevenueCat / StoreKit: Handles purchase validation. We do not store your credit card information or billing address.
4. THE "BEACON" FEATURE (USER GENERATED CONTENT) The "Beacon" feature allows users to anonymously send short motivational messages to the global Quitory network.
  • Submission: By submitting a message to the Beacon, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute this text within the App to other users.
  • Anonymity: Messages are stored without linking to your personal identity (email, name).
  • Moderation: All submitted messages undergo automated and/or manual moderation before being added to the global database. We reserve the right to reject any message.
5. DATA DELETION
  • Local Data: You can delete all your personal progress by uninstalling the app or using the "Reset Progress" button in Settings.
  • Beacon Data: Since Beacon messages are anonymous and not linked to a user account, individual message deletion upon request may not be possible.
